Nothing says ‘Happy Holidays’ like keto peppermint cream cheese fat bombs!
These low carb, delicious and satisfying snacks or treats are incredibly popular.
They are also easy to transport, so they can be a favorite keto dessert to take to your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners.
Like Keto Peppermint Patties…
With just 0.4 carbs per serving, people aren’t even going to care that they are keto. These keto peppermint cream cheese fat bombs are just like peppermint patties!
I am positive, if you don’t like peppermint patties, these may just change your mind.
Aside from spectacular flavor, these easy-to-make fat bombs can pull you out of a mid-day slump by giving your brain the fuel it needs to resume the remainder of the day.
How to Make These Keto Peppermint Cream Cheese Fat Bombs:
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of room temperature cream cheese
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter – room temperature
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar substitute
- 3 tablespoons of refined coconut oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
- Green food coloring for a fun addition!
- A fun silicone mold or mini-muffin wrappers (to place the fat bombs in)
For the chocolate half:
- 4 tablespoons of refined coconut oil, melted
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon confectioner’s sugar substitute
Instructions:
- In a medium-sized bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the room temperature cream cheese and butter until it is light and fluffy.
- Add the sugar substitute, peppermint extract, and coconut oil.
- If you are using food coloring, add 3 drops of green food coloring and mix well. Add more 1 drop at a time until you reach your desired color.
- In a separate small bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, cocoa powder, and confectioner’s sugar substitute.
- Add the chocolate coconut oil mixture into the molds, filling them up about 1/4 of the way. Place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to solidify.
- Use a pastry bag to fill up the molds with the peppermint cream cheese mixture. Place in the freezer for just over an hour to firm up.
- Once solid, pop out your peppermint cream cheese fat bombs and store them in a container in your freezer. This recipe makes about 30 keto peppermint cream cheese fat bombs.
These keto peppermint cream cheese fat bombs will melt at room temperature, so if you are bringing them to a dinner please store them in the fridge. (consider this a Pro Tip!)
