[Note: GO (power powder) is my go-to for ready made Summer Drinks. However, I always love variety when I have time to whip one up!)

Nothing says “summer” like a few distinct flavors, much how like the fall and pumpkin go hand in hand!

So, let’s get right into it!

Keto Drinks for Summer

Keto Cold Brew

Coffee is THE most important beverage in many many people’s routines, and a good cold brew is perfect for those warm (or hot) summer days.

Ingredients:
  • Prepared fresh coffee, chilled
  • Whole cream to taste.
  • Sweetener to taste. 

Optional: Flavored sugar free syrups.

Instructions:
  1. Whatever your most used method is for preparing a great cup or pot of coffee is, is what you should stick with. Many prefer to prepare a pot and refrigerate it once it cools. The same can be done with a cup of coffee made with your Kurig, Espresso maker, instant coffee, whatever you use. 
  2. Store the coffee overnight or up to 3 days in the refrigerator (this is why most prefer to make a pot of coffee).
  3. When ready to drink it, fill a glass or favorite tumbler with ice, pour coffee over the ice and add whole cream or a non-dairy keto approved milk beverage of choice. 
  4. You can add sugar-free flavored sweeteners to taste.
  5. For some extra keto-ness, add some MCT oil!
  6. Enjoy!

Keto Raspberry Lemonade

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup squeezed lemon juice (abt 8 lemons)
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 4 cups water
  • Keto sweetener of choice
Instructions:
  1. Set aside freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  2. Place raspberries in a bowl and sprinkle with some sweetener, mash or muddle them a bit and set them aside.
  3. Add lemon juice to water and add sweetener. If you need to use a hand mixer or blender to mix with the sweetener, now is the time to do that. 
  4. Add the berries and stir.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with whole berries or lemon slices.
  6. Enjoy!

Keto Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup total frozen blueberries and strawberries
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • ¼ cup plain yogurt
  • 5-6 Ice cubes
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp MCT oil
  • Keto sweetener to taste

** Optional – add protein powder

Instructions:

Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed. Add to your favorite smoothie cup and enjoy!

Keto Green Iced Tea

Ingredients:
  • 2-3 green tea teabags
  • 1-2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons coconut oil or MCT oil
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 3 cups ice cubes
Instructions:
  1. Boil water and let it sit for 10 minutes. 
  2. Steep the bags in 3 cups of the boiled water and let it sit for 3-4 minutes. 
  3. Remove the teabags and add the butter and coconut oil, stir. 
  4. Use a hand blender to mix if required.
  5. Add the heavy cream. 
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight. 
  7. Once cooled, add it to a blender with the ice and blend until smooth.
  8. Pour and enjoy!

Keto Matcha Latte

Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp Matcha powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons lukewarm water
  • Keto sweetener to taste
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
Instructions:
  1. In a saucepan whisk the matcha and warm water over medium heat until it dissolves.
  2. Add the sweetener, cream, and almond milk.
  3. Once hot, serve in your favorite mug. Do not let it sit on the hot stove. 
  4. You can sprinkle some matcha on top, or add some frothed almond milk if this is your preference. 
  5. Enjoy!
