We want to take a minute to wish each of you a Happy Mother’s Day weekend!

All women are “mothers” in some way or another. Whether its making sure people are loved on or running errands for church, we are always doing for others. It’s part of who we are. So this weekend take a minute to remember how much you are loved and appreciated for all that you do but mostly for all that you are!

The Bloom Squad thought that it would be helpful if we put together some things to get for that special woman in your life. Since we are living the keto/low carb lifestyle, a box of store bought chocolates just won’t cut it, am I right?

You all know that my love language is gift giving so thinking about ways to love on those I love is super important to me. I never want to gift them something that they might think I didn’t put thought into, so without further ado– Here is my list of Mothers Day gifts for the Special KETO Mom on your list!

Kitchen Gadgets are fantastic! I know, I know– we always hear, moms don’t want kitchen stuff on her special day, but what if she does! Something that mom won’t buy for herself but really wants is always a great gift and fantastic way to show her you were actually listening when she spoke.

  • A food processor or chopper is a great keto gift. They make chopping broccoli, cauliflower and salad mixings a breeze.
  • A spiralizer is perfect for those zucchini’s into noodles. Grab a handheld one that takes up less space!
  • A good blender is a must for your keto momma. It will be handy for smoothies, batters and even mixing spices.
  • A kitchen scale to help her stay on track, especially if she’s a baker or a canner.
  • A tortilla press. If you have a momma that loves cooking spicy, then this is perfect for her!
  • An insta pot, crockpot, or air fryer. Yes these are a bit more expensive but if you have siblings-splurge on your mom!

Keto Treats are always a welcomed gift, right? If you are like me, holidays are supposed to have a sweet treat involved and not being able to eat them just doesn’t see much like a holiday. So for that sweet mother of yours, doesn’t she deserve a goodie on a day that is all about her? Often times on our keto/low carb journey, we have to say no to all the treats that are around but today let’s serve up something made just for your keto momma!

  • Think crunchy and salty! Moon cheese, whisps and parm crisps make for an awesome snack or can be added to a salad.
  • Chocolate! Yes, please! ChocZero, Lily’s and Bake Believe are all great chocolates for anyone living keto!
  • Sometimes momma just needs wine! Dry Farm Wines have great keto options.
  • A keto cookbook to keep mom from getting bored on her journey.
  • How about a treat basket filled with all of your moms favorite treats? You will be the favorite, I’m sure!

Choosing to to live a new lifestyle can be hard. Even though we see benefits fairly quick, it can still be challenging and stressful. Give mom some easy gifts to help her decompress.

  • A gift certificate for a massage or spa day. (better yet, grab one for you and for her and make it a day together)
  • A gift card for her favorite boutique. Take her shopping for a new outfit.
  • A date with you at a restaurant that serves special dishes just for the ketogenic lifestyle.

No matter what Mothers Day looks like for you and yours, remember to love on those important to you. I promise that the best gift you can give your mom,(or any other special lady in your life) doesn’t come with ribbons or bows. It’s the time you spend together that she craves.
