Welcome to our Keto family! (whether you are a Keto Beginner or, someone getting back on the wagon!)

If you’re anything like me, you like 2 things:

  1. Shopping.
  2. A discount.

This is also something I found to be tricky when I first began my keto journey.

love to shop and was looking forward to doing a kitchen overhaul, but I didn’t know where to start and I was concerned about the cost.

Keto Beginner Grocery Ideas

This is where Costco came into play.

I quickly realized that buying items in bulk and separating them for the freezer, pantry or fridge was going to be my best use of time and money. I spent hours reading labels and second guessing what I had thrown in my cart.

So, to make things easier for you, here are 15 of the regular Costco items I would purchase to ensure I was always stocked with keto friendly foods – because this is the key to not dipping into non-keto items for snacking.

As you know, everything counts!

  1. Caesar Salad – NO croutons
  2. Shrimp cocktail (it’s super easy to make your own keto seafood sauce as well)
  3. Heavy cream
  4. Chicken skewers
  5. Pork belly
  6. Nuts
  7. Bacon
  8. Chicken Legs
  9. Green Beans
  10. Blue Moose dips
  11. Wholly Guacamole Classic
  12. Blueberries
  13. Avocados
  14. Cheese Strings
  15. Unsweetened Almond Milk

…..And don’t forget the Ziploc bags!

Now imagine…

These are just a few of my go-to’s.

There are many more items (and by many I mean MANY) that are Keto friendly and worth the little bit of work that goes into separating, freezing and storing items.

Starting is always the hardest part, and it’s when most people give up.

But this happens because they aren’t prepared, they don’t have a support system in place to encourage them, or they don’t have access to resources. It’s my hope that by providing you with all of this FREE information, you’ll be able to meet and even surpass all of your health goals!

Meal planning and shopping go hand in hand when it comes to Keto prep.

This can go one of two ways:

1. Stroll through every aisle and choose keto items that you know you like and use, and mix in some items you’d like to try for variety then plan your menu or

2. Plan all of your meals for the week and shop for what you need to make these dishes complete.

You’ll need to plan to be stocked with high-healthy fat foods, Keto friendly sweeteners, low carb desserts for those days you feel like you need to satisfy those cravings, Keto safe flours, Keto fruit, and everything else you’ll need to make this commitment a whole lifestyle!

Either way, the plan is in place …

How we will all get there is different – which is what I love about this community!

When we all come together to share ideas, recipes and exciting wins…. We all benefit! (Here’s a list to my March Top 10 as well)

Let’s stay in touch with our Keto community so you can stay up to date with what works, and what doesn’t.

The ultimate goal is to support each other to be the healthiest we ever have been.
