When it comes to meal prep and menu planning, sometimes the hardest thing to do is come up with the best keto snack ideas.
With Pinterest, Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook having many fancy ideas, we need to have lists of simple snack ideas we can grab and go.
Although not every keto snack on this list will be a one-step solution, I have included my favorite and simplest keto snacks that keep my taste buds and my belly satisfied!
Don’t Be Overwhelmed!
I hope that you are inspired to keep it simple so you aren’t left feeling overwhelmed. To enjoy being keto, you don’t have to be a chef or even a good cook. You just have to be willing to unlearn old habits and relearn how to nourish your body and remain in ketosis.

- Lunch meat with mustard (or plain if you prefer)
- Berries
- Plain, full-fat yogurt (or I LOVE Ratio yogurt)
- Bacon and cream cheese bites
- Pickles and sliced cheddar cheese
- Bacon
- Meatballs
- Bacon, lettuce, and tomato wraps
- Asparagus and bacon bundles
- Cucumbers and ranch dip
- Tuna and lettuce wraps
- Parmesan crisps
- Turkey and Swiss cheese roll-ups
- Beef jerky (or beef sticks – 85% off to try them)
- Cheese strings
- Nuts
- Seeds

Why Are Keto Snacks Important?
It may not seem like it, but keto snacks are equally as important as meals. Snacking, or lack of can lead you to satisfy sugar or carb cravings!
Not being prepared with ideas or keto food items can cause us to fall into an old pattern, so hopefully, being armed with lists, ideas, and new habits will help to keep you on track.
Snacking helps to keep our energy up throughout the day, and having our body work through those nutrient-dense calories will encourage our metabolism to speed up!
Staying on top of your macros is crucial to your keto success. If you’re not meeting your daily macros, your body can feel sluggish, and cravings can set in.
Balanced keto snacking will take the edge off hunger by prioritizing fats and proteins over carbs. This list is not intended to be the only snacks you have, but it should serve as a source of inspiration and a reminder that keto and excellent health can be easy! Just remember, portions count, always.
It’s ‘Preptember’, Let’s Stay Prepared!
Take it a step further by having snacks prepared and packed for you to take to work, school, the park, the PTA, the BBQ, the doctor’s office, or whatever else you may have planned. I’m telling ya if I can do this and remain somewhat organized, YOU can do it too.

Please help me!!! I’ve been following you for several years. I lost 30 pounds on keto and kept it off for a year. No it’s all piled back on and I’ve totally lost my way. I don’t know why or how to get back on track. I’ve been so afraid to getting back to full fat if I can’t completely get off of the carbs. Any suggestions??? I know berries are highly recommended for keto. But I am allergic to all berries. What fruit would you recommend for me replacing for strawberies or blueberies?
unfortunately, your options are limited in the fruit world. however, things like avocados, tomatoes, olives fall in the fruit family. Other fruits are really high in carbs — kiwis could be an option but they carry around 8 net carbs.

Some I hadn’t thought of. Here is one of mine. Radish slices with cream cheese. I either add a jalapeno slice on top of cream cheese. Radishes give you that “Crunch” factor that is also missed.
I thought carrots were high carb? I’m new to Keto and am just getting guidance from my old friend Google, so I could be wrong. I read that anything that grows underground is high carb. I would love Carrot sticks and keto hummus though.
